       vs        }  Sentence
Buss Gamble      } and now the prisoner being in open Court
for sentence was demanded if he had any thing to say
why sentence should not be passed upon him saith
nothing, Whereupon the Court sentenced the prisoner to pay
a fine of Five dollars together with the Cost of pros-
ecution, Which fine and cost being paid the
prisoner was discharged-
Whereupon
         The Court issued the following order to wit:-
In Circuit Court 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida
            Alachua County, Special Term A.D. 1891
It appearing to the Court that there is a necessity
for a Petit Jury for the second Week of this term
It is therefore Considered and ordered that the County
Judge or in his absence a Justice of the Peace The
Sheriff and the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Alachua
County do forthwith and in open Court proceed to draw
from the Box Containing the list of the Three hundred
selected Jurors the names of Eighteen persons to
Serve as Petit Jurors for the second week of this Term
and also that the Clerk of this Court do forthwith
issue a Venire directed to the Sheriff of Alachua
County Commanding him to Summon the said
Eighteen persons so drawn each for himself to be and
personally appear before the Judge of our Circuit
Court at the Court House in the City of Gainesville
Florida on Monday the 2nd day of February A.D. 1891
at the hour of Ten Oclock of the forenoon of said day

Whereupon Comes J.C. Gordon County Judge
L.W. Fennell and J.A. Carlisle Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Alachua County and in obedience
to the order of the Court and in open Court drew
from the Box Containing the names of the Three
hundred selected Jurors the names of the following
named persons to serve as Petit Juror for the Second
Week of this term to wit: 1. B.F. Hampton 2 Tobias
Brown 3 Vandi H. Ellis 4 C.F. Moore 5 E.D. Hodges
6 Lewis C. Ellis 7 C.C. Martin 8. H.J. Bailey

12 James Chesnut 13 J.A. Morris 14 T.A. Carroll
15 W.H. Hinson 16. J.H. Boon 17. Joe Desha 18 L.A. Barnes
