     Special Term  A.D. 1891
        Thursday  February 5th 1891  --
     hundred selected Jurors the following Eighteen persons
     to wit 1. M.M. May 2. O. Gamage 3 George Montgomery 4 J.I.
     Holbrook 5. W.H. Davis 6. O.G. Barker 7. J.F.P. Johnston 8
     J.D. Matheson 9. W.H. Bracey, 10 L.R. Jones 11 M.M. Beckham
     12 J.E. Hainesworth 13. Ransom Cason 14 S.V. Duke 15 John
     Dial 16 L. Guttry 17 R.H. Hall 18 S.W. Burnett as by the
     order of the Court directed.
     Whereupon
          Comes J.A. Carlisle the Clerk of this Court
     and issued the Venire for the Petit Jury for the
     Third Week of this term as by the order of the
     Court directed

                       }  
                          And now this Cause came on
     to be heard William H. Wigg State Attorney prose-
     cuting in the name and by the authority of the
     State of Florida and the prisoner appearing in open
     Court in his proper person was demanded
     how he would acquit himself of the Charge
     against him saith that he is not guilty as
     the Indictment alleges against him and for
     good and evil he puts himself upon God and the
     County for trial.

                       }  And now this Cause Came on
     to be heard William H. Wigg State Attorney pros-
     ecuting in the name and by the authority of
     the State of Florida and the prisoner appearing
     in open Court in his proper person as well as
     by S.Y. Finley Esqr his attorney; whereupon a Jury
     was called and then came  L.J. Burkhim
     J.A. Morris W.H. Hinson Joe DeSha B.F. Hampton
     and Tobias Brown, who were duly sworn and
     empanelled to well and truly try the diffence
     pending according to the Evidence and now
     comes S.Y. Finley the Attorney for the prisoner
     Willis Browder and after the Jury had been
     duly Sworn and empanelled and moved the
