At a regular term of the Circuit Court of the
Fifth Judicial Circuit of Florida in and for the
County of Alachua begun and held in the Court
House in the City of Gainesville Alachua County
The following proceedings were begun and held to wit:

Owing to the ill health of the Hon James
B. Dawkins Judge of the Circuit Court of the Fifth
Judicial Circuit it is ordered pursuant to Section
Seven of Article VI of the Constitution that the Hon
James M. Baker Judge of the Fourth Judicial be
and he is hereby designated to hold the Spring
Term of the Circuit Court in and for the County of
Alachua appointed to be held on the twenty fourth
day of April A.D. Eighteen hundred and Eighty two
in the place and stead of Judge Dawkins
