Whereupon the Court issued the following order to wit:-
Special Term 1891
It appearing to the Court that there is a necessity for a
Petit Jury for the 5th week of this term it is therefore
ordered that the County Judge or in his absence a Justice
of the Peace the Sheriff and the Clerk of the Circuit
Court of Alachua County do forthwith draw from the Box -
Containing the list of Three Hundred selected Jurors
the names of Eighteen persons to Serve as Petit Jurors
for the fifth Week of this term and also that the
Clerk of this Court do issue a Venire Facias
Commanding the Sheriff of Alachua County to
Summon the Eighteen persons So drawn to be
and appear before the Judge of our Circuit Court
on Monday the 23rd day of February A.D. 1891
at the hour of Ten Oclock A.M.

Whereupon Comes J.C. Gardner County Judge
L.W. Fennell Sheriff and J.A. Carlisle Clerk of the
Circuit Court and in open Court under the
immediate Supervision of the Court draw from the
Box containing the list of Three hundred selected
Jurors the following named persons to wit:
1. Joe Holt 2 D. Hicks 3 T.J. Knight 4 W.J.G.
Adams 5 Jeff D. Easterlin and now there
are no other names in said Box containing the
list of Three Hundred Selected Jurors -
Whereupon Comes J.A. Carlisle the Clerk of this
Court and in open Court issues the Venire
Facias as by the order of the Court directed
Whereupon the Court adjourned until tomorrow
morning at nine oclock
