Verdict  We the Jury find Columbus Brown the defendant guilty of
         Murder it the second degree

          Whereupon the Court made the following orders for the Regular
         Venire for the second week of this term and a Special Venire for
         seventy nine persons from whom to complete the petit jury in the case 
         of the State of Florida Vs Percy Summers.

           It being necessary to hold this term of the Court during the
         next week thereof, the Judge of the Court in the presence of the Clerk and
         Deputy Sheriff G.M. Wienges drew from the box containing the names of
         persons selected by the County Commissioners for the juries for Alachua
         County Florida for the year AD 1900 the following named persons
         to serve as petit jurors for the second week of this special term of

           The Clerk is directed to issue a venire for the above named
         persons returnable at 10 O'clock AM Feby 20th 1900

                     The above styled cause having been set for
         trial on Tuesday 20th of February AD 1900 and the Judge of the
         Court being of opinion that it will be necessary to have a
         special jury in order to complete the panel of petit jurors for
         the trial of said cause, the Judge of this Court in open court in
         the presence of the Clerk of this Court and G.M. Wienges Deputy
         Sheriff of this County drew from the box containing the names of
         persons selected by the County Commissioners for jurors for the year
         AD 1900 the following named persons for such special jury to wit:
