        Charge of the Court without retiring from the box rendered
        the following Verdict to wit
Verdict     We the Jury find the defendants not guilty so say we all

        Whereupon the defendants were discharged from custody and Nolle prossed
        as to Sonny Taylor
        State of Florida } Attempt to commit a Felony
                vs       }
        Bubber Sheffield }
                         Now this cause is nol prossed by the State

          Whereupon L.A. Vidal one of the jurors of the regular panel for the second
        week of this term was excused from further attendance upon
        this Court for the reason that he is opposed to Capital punishment

                     Now this cause coming on to be heard Syd L. Carter
        State Attorney prosecuting in the name & by authority of the State
        of Florida and the prisoners appearing in open court in their proper
        persons were each arraigned and upon their arraignment each
        pleaded in abatement

                   It is hereby agreed by the State Attorney and
        Defendants Attorney that Miss Aurora Mixson be appointed
        Stenographer to take the testimony in said case

           It appearing to the Court that there is a
        necessity for a stenographer in the above styled cause
        and the state Attorney and the Attorney for Defendant having agreed
        to the appointment of Miss Aurora Mixson it is hereby ordered that Miss
        Aurora Mixson be appointed to take the testimony in the above

               Whereupon Miss Aurora Mixson was duly sworn as such
        stenographer by the Clerk of the Court
