Spring Term AD 1900
Saturday May 19th
came as Jurors in this cause H.B. Brooker J.A. McDonald T.A.
Sewell, J.H. Goss, Albert Endel and John T. Woods, show were duly
well and truly
Empaneled and Sworn to^try the issue between the State of Florida
and the Defendant according to the Evidence so help you God. -
And the Jury aforesaid, after hearing the Evidence, and the
charge of the Court, retired to consider of their verdict
and after due consideration thereof they returned in open
Court, and rendered the following Verdict to wit: -
Verdict We the Jury find the Defendant Guilty so say we all

State of Florida }
Vs } Breaking and Entering with intent to commit a
Robert Liggon } Misdemeanor
Now this cause coming on to be heard Syd L. Carter State Attorney
prosecuting in the name and by authority of the state of
Florida and the prisoner Robert Liggon being in open
Court in his proper person was arraigned, and
pleaded Guilty. Whereupon the Court sentenced the
Sentence prisoner in manner and form as follows.
The sentence of the law is that you, Robert Liggon
be imprisoned by confinement in the state prison
at hard labor for one year.
Whereupon Court adjourned until Monday morning next at
10 O'clock

Court me this day pursuant to adjournment of
Saturday last his Honor W.A. Hocker Judge presiding
And now comes L.W. Fennell Sheriff of Alachua County and
returns the Venire for twelve jurors issued out of this Court on the 18th
day of May 1900 to serve as petit jurors to serve for the third week
of this present Term of the Court an having been executed by
summoning the following named persons to wit J.R. Eddens
E.E. Camron J.T. Collins, Fernando Sanchez F.F. Paulling H.S. Sikes
John Vaughn C.C. Neal James Holder L.C. Lynch W.J. Matthews
& J.T. Stokes in person Whereupon for good and sufficient cause shown
the Court excused C.C. Neal and L.C. Lynch from further attendance
upon the Court
