State of Florida }
       Vs        } Assault with intent to murder
W.J. Knight      }
           Now comes the defendant William J. Knight by his
attorney B.A. Thrasher Esq and moves the Court in arrest of judgment
        And now said motion being submitted to the Court and
argued by counsel for the respective parties and the Court being advised in
the premises doth decide and order that said motion in arrest of judgement
be and the same is hereby overruled. To which ruling and order of the Court
the defendant by his attorney then and there excepted

State of Florida }
      Vs         } Assault with intent to Murder
Andrew Jenkins   }
               Now this cause coming on to be heard Syd L. Carter
State Attorney prosecuting in the name and by authority of the State of
Florida and the prisoner being in open Court in his proper person
was arraigned and upon his arraignment pleaded not guilty and for
good and evil puts himself upon God and the Country for trial
   Whereupon a jury was called and there came: J.R. Eddins
E.E. Camron J.T. Collins Fernando Sanchez F.F. Paulling and H.S. Sikes
who were duly empanelled and sworn to well and truly try the
issue between the state of Florida and the defendant according to
the Evidence And the jury aforesaid after hearing the Evidence
the argument of counsel and charge of the Court retired to consider
of their Verdict And after due consideration thereof they returned
into open Court and rendered the following verdict to wit:
    We the jury find the defendant Andrew Jenkins guilty
of aggravated assault so say we all

State of Florida }
      Vs         } Libel
Israel M. Putnam }
             And now this cause is overturned on motion
of defendant

State of Florida }
       Vs        } Obtaining goods under false pretenses
W.H. Valentine   }
     And now this cause is continued on application of defendant
   Whereupon Court adjourned until Wednesday morning
next at Nine Oclock
