for the purposes stated and wished the same to go

     Known all men by these presents that we
William Bloodgood and Thomas Teleston of the city of
New York Merchants have made constituted and appointed
and by these presents do make constitute and appoint George
R. Fairbanks of the city of St. Augustine in the state of Florida
councilor at law our true and lawful attorney for us and
in our name place and stead to take upon himself the charge
and management of the lands hereinafter mentioned that
is to say all those certain tracts pieces or parcels of
land situate in the Arrendondo grant in the state of Flor
ida and described in the final decree in the suit for
the partition of the saim in the suit in which John H.
Brush and others were complainants and Ichabod
Prall and others defendants and made on the eleventh
day of August AD one thousand eight hundred and
forty nine as follows
