This indenture made the tenth day
of January in the year one thousand Eight hun
dred and fifty Between David Henry Haight
of the City of New York merchant and Mary Ellen
his wife of the first part and Charles W. Johnson
late of Michagan and now of Goshen Orange
County and State of New York of the second part
Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and
in Consideration of the sum of one Dollar
Lawful money of the United States of America to
them in the hand paid by the said party of the
second part at or before the Ensealing and
Delivery of the presents the receipt where of is
hereby acknowledged have remised released and
quit claimed and by these presents do remise re
lease and quit claim unto the said party of the
second part and to his heirs and assigns forever
All those certain lots or sections & parcels of Land
situated in Alachua County on the tract of
Land Known as the Arredondo grant lying in
East Florida in the State of Florida and which lots
sections and parcels of land are discribed designated
on a certain map of the Arredondo Grant made
under the direction of the commissioners ap
pointed by the Superior Court of the district of
of East Florida at the June Term of 1845 by David
H. Burr and Henry Washington by the section num
ber (9) nine containing six hundred and forty acres |
