               This indenture made this Third
Day of December in the year one thousand 
Eight hundred and fifty  between Charles L. 
Wilson Sherriff of Alachua County State of Flor
ida of the first part and Samuel Russell of the 
second part County & State  aforesiad of the second
part Witnesseth that wherein by virtue of sundry Execue-
tions insued from Justice D.A. Hemenway's court in Marion County
Florida and indorsed to me by Justice John S. Livingston of 
Alachua County Florida against Charles Wanton * defendant
for the sum of 38.62 + 27.20=$65.82 with interest thereof
at the rate of six per cent per annum and on Twenty seven 20/100
dollars from the Twenty sixth day of May 1848 and on Thirty
eight 62/100 dollars from the first day of January 1849, until paid
which said sum was recovered by C.L. Fribley in said Justice's
courts as on record may appear. And whereas the said Execution
was directed and delivered to me Charles L. Wilson Sheriff as afore-
=said commanding me that of the goods and chattels, lands, and
tenements of the said Charles Wanton I should cause to be made
the aforesaid sum of Sixty five dollars and eighty two cents
with interest as aforesiad, and cost to satisfy the said executions
with the costs thereof, and the said Charles L. Wilson sheriff as 
aforesaid in pursuance and by virtue of his office, and the afore-
said executions did serve and levy on the interest of the said
Charles Wanton in Section Twenty five in Township Eleven south of
range Twenty East, said interest supposed to be one hundred
and sixty acres of land more or less the property of the said
Charles Wanton, and the said Charles L. Wilson as aforesiad
after due advertisment according to law did cause the interest
of the said Charles Wanton in the above described tract of
land to be part up at public outcry to highest bidder on the
third day of December AD 1850 in the town of Newnansville in
the county of Alachua before the Court house  house door in the said
town between the hours of Ten and Three O'Clock, at which time 
and place the aforesiad Samuel Russell became the last & 
highest bidder at the sum of Fifty dollars for the said Charles
Wanton's interest is the said described tract of land.
  This indenture therefore witnesseth that the said Charles
L. Wilson Sheriff as aforesaid for and is consideration of the
sum of Fifty dollars, there in hand paid by the said Samuel
Russell, at or before the sealing and delivering of these presents
