Know all men by those present that I, William Waters
of Alachua County Florida in consideration of the sum of one
hundred and fifty dollars to me paid by Charles F. Fitchett of said
county receipt whereof is hereby acknowleged, do hereby bargain, sell
and release and forever quit claim unto the said Charles F. Fitchett
his heirs and assigns all those tracts or parcels of land situated
in said county designated in the official plat of the surveys of the
same by the United States of America as the North East
of the North East quarter of Section No (9)Nine, in Township No
Eight S of range No Eighteen containing in all thirty nine
acres and 91/100 ninety one one hundreths more or less, which
said tracts of land were purchased from the United States
by William Waters, on the 28rd day of September Eighteen
hundred and forty six and for which a patent was issued
to me by said United States on the day of
together with all the priviledges and appur
tenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining.
To have and to hold the above tracts and parcels of land
with the appurtenances unto the said Charles F. Fitchett his
heirs, and assigns forever. And I do hereby covenant for
myself my heirs executors and administrators with the said
Charles F. Fitchett his heirs executors, administrators and
assigns, that the said land and premises are free from all
incumbrance made or suffered by me and that I will and
my heirs executors and administrators shall warrant and de
fend the same to the said Charles F. Fitchett his heirs and
assigns against the lawful claims of all persons claiming
under me; but against none others. I the William Waters
do further for the above consideration assign unto the said
Charles F. Fitchett all my claim upon the amount of money
paid the United States for the said tracts or parcels of land
