This Indenture made this Twenty Eight day
of August in the year one Eight hundred and fifty between
John Macpherson Berrien of the city of Savannah in the State of
Georgia of the first part and Robert A. Child of the State of
of the second part witnesseth the said John M.
Berrien for and in consideration of the sum of one Thousand
nine hundred and fourteen dollars and thirty six cents
lawful money of the United States to him in hand paid by
the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged hath granted bargained, sold aliened and
conveyed and by these present Doth grant bargain sell
alien and convey unto the said Robert A. Child and to his
heirs and assigns all that tract of land situate in the
County of Marion in the said State of Florida and desig
nated in the map of survey and subdivision of the grant
known as the grant of F.M. Arredondo and son bearing date
on the Twenty seventh day of December one Thousand
Eight Hundred and seventeen of which this is a part
made by Daniel A. Burr and Henry Washington in
the month of February one Thousand Eight hundred
and forty six as section 31 township 11 range 21 contain
ing Sic hundred and thirty six acres Together with the
rights tenements hereditaments and appurtenances whatsoever
to the said granted and described premises belonging
or in any wise appertaining to have and to hold the
said bargained premises with the remainder and remain
ders reversion and reversions rents issues and profits
thereof unto all and singular the appurtenances unto
him the said Robert A. Child his heirs and assigns
and the said John Macpherson Berrien and his heirs
all and singular the above granted and described prem
ises with the appurtenances and every part and parcel
thereof unto the said Robert A. Child his heirs and
assigns agains him the said John Macpherson Berrien
and against all and every person and persons lawfully
claiming or to claim from by or under or in trust
for him them or any of them shall and will war
rant and forever defend by these presents
