or claim of in or out of a certain tract land part and
parcel of the Grant commonly known as the Alachua or Arredondo Grant
in the aforesaid State of Florida and designated in the Map of survey
or subdivision of the said Arredondo Grant made by David A. Burr and
Henry Washington on the ninth of February One Thousand Eight Hundred and
Forty Five as sector No. Thirty one- in Township No. Eleven in Range Twenty
one containing Five Hundred and Thirty Five acres and also all manner
of action or actions writ or writs of dower whatsoever so that neither I
the said Eliza Cecil Berrien or any other person for me or in my name
any manner of Dower or any right or title of Dower or writ of action of
Dower of in or to the said Lot or tract of land or of or in any tract
in parcel thereof at any time hereafter shall or may have claim, or pros-
-ecute against the said Robert A. Child his heirs or assigns
              In Witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and
affixed my seal this Twenty third day of November one thousand eight
hundred and fifty

City of Savannah} Be it known that before me Robert M. Charlton commision-
-er of for the State of Florida for the purpose of taking acknowledgments of deeds
&C by lawful authority duly appointed Commissioned and sworn, and resi-
ding and practicing in the City of Savannah in the State of Georgia person-
-ally came and appeared in the said city Mrs. Eliza C. Berrien wife of the
Hon John Macpherson Berrien of said city, and whom as and is well known
to me to be the identical person named is and who executed the foregoing
and *****ed renunciation of Dower, and she the said Mrs. Eliza C. 
Berrien then and there acknowledged separately and apart from her
said husband that the said relinquishment and renunciation of dower
was made freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
or apprehension or fear of or from her said husband which
said acknowledgment was made on the day of the date of such acknow
-ledgement              In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and       
official seal this Twenty third day of November in the year of our
Lord one Thousand eight hundred and fifty
