Know all men be these presents that I Robert Stokes of Alachua County
Florida in consideration of the sum of Twelve hundred dollars($1200) to me
in hand paid by Edguin L. Gunnell and Henry Stokes of said Alachua County
do hereby by grant, bargain. sell, and convey unto the said Edguin L. Gunnell and
Henry Stokes their heirs and assign a certain tract of land situated in said county
known according to the plats of the survey of the land by the United States of
America as the North East quarter, and the East half of the North west quarter
Section Thirty Five(35) Township Eight (8) South Range eighteen (18) East
containing Two Hundred and fifty acres more or less, together with all the
privileges and appurtenances to the said land belonging over any use appertaining
and belonging, to have and to hold the above granted land and premises unto
the said Edguin L. Gunnell, Henry Stokes, their heirs and assigns to them and
their uses and behoof forever. And I the said Robert Stokes for myself my
heirs executors and administrators do covenant with the said Edguin L. Gun-
-nell and Henry Stokes their heirs and assigns that I am lawfully seized in
full of the aforegranted premises; that they are free from all incumbrances
that I have good right to sell and convey the same to the said Edguin L. 
Gunnell and Henry Stokes as aforesaid; and that I will and my heirs execu-
-tors and administrators shall warrant and defend the same top the said 
Edguin L. Gunnell and Henry Stokes theirs and assigns forever against
the lawful demands of all persons
           In Testimony whereof I the said Robert Stokes have hereunto set my
hand and seal this 31st day of March AD 1851
