This Indenture made this Fifth day of May in the year of our
Lord One thousand eight hundred and fifty one, between Charles L.
Wilson Sheriff of Alachua County State of Florida of the first part
and Moses E. Levy of St. Johns County Florida of the second
part Witnesseth, that whereas the said Charles L. Wilson Sheriff
as aforesaid on the 22nd day of February one thousand eight
hundred and fifty one made due levy of all the right title and
interest of Peter S. Smith and Ann C. Smith in and to the lands
and real Estate hereinafter described by virtue of a certain decree
of foreclosure which had been theretofore rendered in the Circuit
Court for the Counties of Alachua and Levy on the Equity side
thereof at December Term 1849 in a certain suit in Chancery
therein pending wherein Moses E. Levy was complainant and the
said Peter S. Smith and the said Ann C. Smith his wife were
defendants, and wherein judgement was rendered in favor of said
complainant for the Sum of Ten thousand one hundred and
Sixty eight 11/100 Dolls, and the equity of redemption of said defen-
=dants was duly foreclosed, and whereas the said decree further
provided that the said lands and real Estate hereinafter described
and set forth should be sold by or under the direction of the Sheriff
of Alachua County under the same notice and in the same man-
=ner as provided by law for the sales of real Estate under Executor
at law, and whereas the said Sheriff having given public
notice of the intended sale in the manner prescribed as afore-
=said did on the day of the date of these presents pursuant to the
notice aforesaid in front of the Court House in the Town of New=
-nansville sell by public auction the real Estate of the said Peter
S. Smith and Ann C. Smith hereinafter described to Moses E. Levy of
St. John County Florida for the aggregate price and sum of Three
hundred and forty one 20/100 dollars he being the highest bidder for
each and every parcel thereof.
              Now therefore know ye that the said Charles L. Wilson
by virtue of the power and authority in him vested as aforesaid and
in consideration of the Sum of Three hundred and forty one 20/100
Dollars to him in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
hath granted bargained and sold, and by these present doth grant
bargain Sell and convey unto the said Moses E. Levy his heirs
and assigns all those tracts or parcels of lands following, to wit,
"A tract of one thousand acres granted by the Spanish Government
on the 15th day of November 1817 to Juan B. Entralgo situated at
the water Pens within the limits of the present County of Putnam
in Township No. Ten Range No. 23 S and also Lots Four, Five
Six and Seven of Section Eight T10 Range 23 S&E and also
