This Indenture made this Seventy day of May in the Year of our Lord
One thousand eight hundred and fifty one between Samuel Russell
and Mary Caroline his wife of Alachua Co Florida of the first part
and George R. Fairbanks of St. Johns County Florida, Witnesseth
that the said parties of the first part for and for and in consideration of the
sum of One hundred and Sixty dollars to them in hand paid by the
said party of the Second part the receipt whereof is hereby ac=
=knowledged have granted bargained assigned sold and trans=
=ferred and by these presents do grant bargain sell assign and
transfer to the Said party of the Second part all the right, title
and interest of their of in and to a certain tract or parcel of
land situate in the County of Alachua and being part of the Arredondo
grant and designated on the map of Said grant made by Messrs
as Section Number Thirty five, Township Number Eleven and Range
Twenty and conveyed to said party of the first part Samuel Russell
by the Sheriff of Alachua Co. Florida by deed bearing date the 3rd day of
December 1850 as the interest of one Charles Wanton in said Tract or
parcel of land and which Said deed was recorded in Alachua Co
Records on page 317 & 318 on the 27th Jany 1851 hereby transferring to
said party of the second part all the rights in the Said Samuel Russell
Vested by virtue of Said Conveyance, To have and to hold the same to the
said Geo R. Fairbanks his heirs and assigns forever. Hereby covenanting
with the Said party of the second part that the said parties of the
first part have not incumbered the same in any way or manner.

Alachua County SS. Be it remembered that on this 7th day of May 1851
personally appeared Mary C. Russell the wife of the within named Samuel
Russell and being privately and separately examined by me
she did declare that she did freely voluntarily and without any Con-
=pulsion dread or fear of any person or persons whatsoever renounce
release and and forever relinquish unto the within named Geo R.
Fairbanks his heirs and assigns all her interest estate and
also her right of claim of Dower of in or to all and Singular the
premises within mentioned and released          Mary Caroline Russell  (  )
