                  Know all men by these presents that I, John
McKinlay of said State and County for and in consideration of the
Sum of Sixteen hundred dollars, to me in hand paid by Charles
L. Wilson of said County the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
whereof at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents is
hereby acknowledged, have given, granted, bargained, sold, and
conveyed, and do by these presents give, grant, bargain, sell, and
convey unto the said Charles L. Wilson the following described
property, to wit, Emily a negro female slave, and her two
children namely Cuffee a boy aged about seven years, and
Henry a boy aged about Eighteen months and also Tena a
negro female slave, aged about twenty three years Together
with all the future issue and increase of said slaves.
  To Have and to hold the above described property to him
the said Charles L. Wilson his heirs and assigns forever
And I the said Charles L. Wilson John McKinlay do here-
=by covenant to and with the said Charles L. Wilson, that I
am lawfully seized and possessed of said negro slaves, and
that I have good and lawful right to sell and convey the same.
  And I the said John McKinlay for myself my heirs
Executors and administrators will forever warrant and defend
unto the said Charles L. Wilson his heirs Executors and adminis=
=trators the right and title to the above conveyed property against the
claim of all persons claiming or to claim by through or under me
and against the claim of all persons whatsoever
  In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal
this 4th day of January A.D. 1851

State of Florida  }  Personally appeared before the subscriber Clerk of
Alachua County    }  the Circuit Court in and for said County, M. OBrien,
one of the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Bill of sale who being duly sworn
says that he saw John McKinlay Sign and Seal the same for the purposes therein
specified, and that Saml Russell was also a subscribing witness
Sworn to and subscribed before me this                             M. OBrien
21st day of February A.D. 1851
