Alachua County } This indenture made and executed this 23 day
of Feburary in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty
one between William Daniels and his wife Martha Daniels of the state
aforesaid and County of Putnam of the first part and John G. Dampier
of the second part Witnesseth that the said William Daniels and
Martha Daniels his wife for and in consideration of the sum of forty dollars
to them in hand paid by said John Dampier the receipt is
hereby acknowledge, hath granted, bargain, convey and delivered
and by these presents doth grant, bargain, convey and deliver unto
the said John G. Dampier his heirs and assigns all the following
described lot, or parcel of lands lying and being in the County of
Alachua and known as the Southeast quarter of Section Thirty five
in township Ten south of range twenty two East containing one
hundred and sixty one acres and three hundredths of an acre
To have and to hold the said described premises together with all
rights and appurtesances thereunto belonging to him the said John
G. Dampier his heirs and assigns forever in fee simple and the said
William Daniels and Martha Daniel his wife for themselves their
heirs, executors and administrators will forever warrant and defend
the right and the title thereto against the claim of all persons whatever

Daniels his wife has hereunto set their hands and seal the day

Personally came before me Jesse A. Brush, Judge
of Probate in and for said County Martha Daniels wife of William
Daniels who separate and apart from her husband says she signed
and executed the within deed and voluntarily without any fear
or compulsion of her husband or any other person.
