Know all men by these presents that I Geo M. Galpin of the
County of Alachua State of Florida, for and in consideration of the sum
of Eighteen Dollars to me in hand paid  have granted bargained and
sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell and convey unto
Abraham a free colored man of the County and State aforesaid
all those certain Lots or parcels of land situated in the Town of
Newnansville County of Alachua and State aforesaid and designa-
ted on the Maps of said Town as Lots seven & Eight (7)(8) Block
No 2 Range No 1 containing one acre and all the right title and
claim and demand in sd Lots in me invested to have and to hold
the same with the appurtenances unto the sd Abraham a free
colored man his heirs and assigns in fee simple forever
      And the sd Geo M. Galpin for himself and his heirs does hereby
covenant and agree with the sd Abraham a free man of color and
his heirs and assigns that he is now the owner of sd Lots of Land and
is seized of a good and indefeasible title therein and that he has
full power and right to sell and convey the same in fee simple
absolute that the sd Lots of land are free and clear from all
encumbrances that the sd Abraham as free man of color his heirs and
assigns may forever hereafter have hold and possess and enjoy the
same without any suit molestation or interruption by any person whatso-
ever lawfully claiming any right therein, and I the sd Geo M. Galpin
and all persons hereafter claiming under me will at any time here-
after at the request and expense of the sd Abraham a free man of col-
or his heirs and assigns make all such further assurances for the
more effectual conveying of the sd Lots of land as may be resonalbly
requested of me and that I the sd Geo M. Galpin and my heirs will
warrant and defend the sd Lots of land with the appurtenances
unto the sd Abraham a free man of color his heirs and assigns forever
