This Indenture made and entered into the twenty second day
of June in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty one
between John H. Lewis and his wife Mary M. Lewis of the one
part and John Lewis of the County of Alachua of the other part,
witnesseth that for and in consideration of the sum of Two thousand
five hundred and five dollars to them in hand paid, by the
said John Lewis at the ensealing and delivery of these presents
the receipt of which they hereby acknowledged they have bar=
-gained and sold, released and quit claimed all right and title
they may have to the following tracts of land in the County of
Alachua and State of Florida known in the Survey of the
Arredondo Grant as Section Fifteen, Township Ten, Range
Twenty also Section number Twenty one, Township Ten, Range
Twenty, reserving and guaranteing a pathway twenty feet wide,
at the junction corner between Section fifteen and Twenty, and
over Section Twenty three, and also reserving forever a pathway
twenty feet wide, along the eastern line of Section fifteen
Township ten and Range Twenty To Have and to Hold
the above named sections of land to him the said John Lewis
his heirs and assigns forever, and we do hereby warrant
and will forever defend the title hereby conveyed against
the lawful claim of all and every person, claiming by through

which is a Court of Record and ex officio Clerk of said Court
personally came Mary M. Lewis, wife of John H. Lewis, who is
personally known to me, and who being by me examined privately and
apart from her said husband acknowledged that she signed
sealed and delivered the foregoing deed on the day of the date
thereof as her voluntary act and deed without any fear threats
or compulsion of her said husband
