                         Before me John W. Otey presiding
and sole Judge of the Court of Probate and for said County,
which is a Court of Record, and ex officio Clerk of said Court
personally appeared Mary M. Lewis the wife of John H. Lewis
who is personally known to me, and who being by me examined
privately and apart from her said husband acknowledged
that she signed sealed and delivered the foregoing deed on the
day of the date thereof, as her voluntary act and deed freely
without any fear threats or compulsion of her said husband
                       Given under my hand and the seal of said
                       Court at Huntsville that third day of July
                       Eighteen hundred and fifty one, and of
                       American Independence the 75th year
