                            Be it known that on this
22d of March 1851, before me a Commissioner appointed
by the Governor of the State of Florida to take acknowledge=
=ment of deeds &c in the City of New York to be used in the said
State of Florida, and duly qualified, personally appeared
Eugene Van Ness and Charles W. Brush and acknowledged
that they had executed the within deed for the purpose therein
mentioned  And I certify that I am acquainted with
the said Eugene Van Ness & the said Charles W Brush
and know them to be the individuals described in and who
executed the said deed
                    In testimony whereof I herewith set my
                    hand and affix my seal of office at
                    the City of New York the day and Year
