                   Whereas Moses E. Levy of the County
of St. Johns State of Florida has this day by a power of
Attorney under his hand and Seal Empowered George L. Brown
of the County of Alachua State of Florida to make Application
at the Land Office at Newnansville Florida and to receive
from the Register and receiver of Said Office the certificates
of Entry by the Said Moses E. Levy of One Thousand Acres of
the Twenty one thousand nine hundred & twenty three (21923)
acres of the public Lands of the United States which the Said
Moses E. Levy is Entitled to Enter, as by Certificate No. One
of the Surveyor General of the United States in and for the State
of Florida, fully and at large appears which certificate is
dated at St. Augustine April 15th 1851
  Now Know all Men by these presents that I
the Said Moses E. Levy have made constituted Appointed
and ordained and by these presents do make, constitute,
appoint and ordain the Said George L. Brown my true
and lawful attorney for me and in my name to Sell and
dispose of Said One thousand acres of Land, at Such prices
as I Shall direct and Consent to, and in accordance with
the instructions which I Shall give him and in Such
quantities as Shall be required by any person or persons
desiring to purchase any part or portion of Said One
thousand Acres of land and to receive from the Register &
Receiver aforesaid the certificates of the Entry by me of Such
parts or portions of Said One thousand Acres of lands
as he may Sell or dispose of, and to transfer and
deliver the Same to the person or persons purchasing
the Said parts or portions of Said One thousand Acres
of land described in the Certificates of Entry by me
