Know all men by these presents that I Henry Stokes of the
County of Alachua State of Florida for and in consideration
of the Sum of Six hundred dollars ($600) to me in hand paid
have bargained Sold and by these presents do grant, bargain
Sell and Convey unto Martha A. Hague of the Same place all
of my right title claim and interest (one half) of that cer-
-tain parcel of Land Situate in the County and State aforesaid
Known according to the plat of the Survey of the Same Viz the
United States of America as the North East quarter and East
half of the North West quarter of Section thirty five (35)
Township Eight (8) South Range Eighteen (18) East Containing
Two hundred and forty acres more or less with all the
appurtenances and all the right title interest claim and
Demand of mine in the premises to have and to hold
the Same with the appurtenances unto the Said Martha A.
Hague and her heirs in fee Simple forever, And I the
Said Henry Stokes for myself and my heirs do hereby cove=
-nant and agree to and with the Said Martha A. Hague
And her heirs and assigns that I am now the owner of
one half of the Said premises and am Seized of a good
and indefeasible right Estate of inheritance therein and
that I have full right and power to Sell and convey the
Same in fee Simple absolute that the Said premises are
free and clear of all Encumbrances, that the Said Martha
A. Hague and her heirs and assigns may forever hereafter
have hold possess and Enjoy the Same without any Suit
molestation or interuption By any person Whatsoever, lawfully
claiming any right to Said half of Said land and that
I the said Henry Stokes and all persons hereafter claim-
-ing under me will at any time hereafter at the request
of the Said Martha A. Hague her heirs or assigns make
all such further assurances for the more effectual con-
-veying of the Said premises with the appurtenances as
may be required by her or them, and that I the Said
Henry Stokes and his heirs will warrant and defend
the Said premises with the appurtenances unto the Said
Martha A. Hague and her heirs and assigns forever
