On this 8th day of December A.D. 1851 before
me the Subscriber personally Appeared John M. Hunt one of the
Subscribing witnesses to the foregoing instrument of writing and
under oath declared that he Saw Joseph G. Bell & Elizabeth
Bell his wife execute the foregoing instrument of writing
for the purposes therein mentioned

This Indenture made the Seventh day of September
in the Year of Our Lord One thousand Eight hundred & forty Six
between Eliza M. Whitwell & William T. Garvin both of the City
of Philadelphia State of Pennsylvania & James D. Garvin and
George I.F. Garvin both of St. Johns County State of
Florida, Children and heirs of William Garvin decd late of
the province of East Florida parties of the first part and the
Trustees of the Presbyterian Church of St. Augustine in the
County of St. Johns aforesaid parties of the Second part: Witnesseth
that Whereas a quit Claim deed of a certain tract of Land
of Two hundred Acres was on the thirty first day of December
A.D. 1830 by Feliciau M.A. Garvin, mother of the Said parties
of the first part, made and executed to the Said parties
of the Second part, for the purpose of confirming Said deed
made by their Mother, & for & in consideration of the Sum
of One dollar to the Said parties of the first part, in hand
paid by the Said parties of the Second part, at and before
the Ensealing and delivery of these presents the receipt whereof
is hereby acknowledged, the Said parties of the first part
have remised, released, conveyed & Quit Claimed & by these
presents do remise, release, Convey & Quit Claim unto the Said
parties of the Second part & to their Successors & assigns
forever, all that certain tract or parcel of land of two
hundred acres Situated being in the County of Alachua
in Said State of Florida which Said tract or parcel
of Land hereby conveyed & intended to be is that one
fifth part lying & being to the northermost of a Grant
or tract of One thousand Acres of Land, which |
