Know all men by these presents that whereas
I Moses E. Levy of St. Johns County Florida was on
or about the 30th day of January 1826 Justly indebted
to Seraphina Chaurvteau of the City of Paris France
in the Just and full Sum of Fifty Thousand
francs And in order to Secure which Said Sum
of Money I the Said Moses E. Levy did duly execute
and deliver to Said Seraphina Chaurvteau my
certain indenture of mortgage bearing date on or
about the day and year aforesaid upon certain
lands therein fully described and Set fourth and which
Said Mortgage has been duly recorded in the Several
Counties wherein Said lands were Situated to wit
in the Counties of Alachua, Marion, Duval
and Orange and whereas a portion of the Said Monies So Secured
to be paid do Still remain Justly due and owing
from me the Said Moses E. Levy to the Said Seraphina
Chaurvteau, now therefore I do hereby declare that
the Said debt of Said Seraphina Chaurvteau is a
Just valid and Subsisting Claim and demand against
me and that Said Mortgage So executed by me
is a true valid and Subsisting lien and
mortgage upon all and every the Lands
embraced therein except as to those which
have been released by virtue of a power of attor=
-ney to Such effect
In Witness Whereof and to make and
Cause a full acknowledgement thereof to be made
I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this
12th day of January 1852 at Micanopy Alachua
County Florida
