the subscriber, came Charles W. Johnson
and Mary his wife, and severally acknowledge
that they had executed the within conveyance
and the said Mary, on a private examination
private and apart from her husband, acknowl-
=edged that she executed the same freely
and without and fear or compulsion of her
said husband, and I certify that I
Know the persons making the acknowledgement
aforesaid to be the same individuals described
in and who executed the same

Court of said County being a Court of Record
do hereby certify, that Frederick A. Hoyt
whose name is subscribed to the certificate
of the proof or acknowledgement of the annexed
instrument, and therein written, was at the
time of taking such proof, or acknowledgement
Justice of the Peace for said County, dwelling
in said County, commissioned and sworn and
duly authorised to take the same, and further
that I am well acquainted with the handwriting
of the said Justice, and verily believe that
the signature to the said certificate of proof
or acknowledgement is genuine, and that such
acknowledgement is in all respect in conformity
with the Law of the State of New York
