Alachua County          Know all men by these present that I 
Mariah Floyd wife of Isaih Floyd the Grantor of the foregoing
deed Viz And in Consideration of the Sum of one Dollar to me in
hand paid by John B. Standley the receipt whereof is hereby Ack-
nowledged do hereby renounce release, relinquish unto the Said
John B. Standley all my rights dower in eqity-of dower of in and
to the premises by said deed Conveyed
     Witness My hand and Seal this 8th day of March AD 1852.

Alachua County          Personally appeared before the Sub-
scribed a Justice of the Peace in and for Said County Mariah
Floyd to me well Known to be the person who executed the above
relinquishment of Dower and acknowledged that Said relinquish-
ment of Dower was made freely and voluntarily and without com-
pulsion restraint apprehension in fear of or from her husband,
And I certify that Said acknowledgement was made Separate and
apart from her Said husband
