This Indenture made and entered into this the 3rd day of September
AD 1876 between David G. Hennis and Mary J. Hennis wife of the said
David G. (who joins in this deed for the purpose of renouncing and
relinquishing her right & title of dower in the premises herein after
conveyed of the first part and James R. Atkins of the second part
Witnesseth that the parties of the first part for and in consideration of
the sum of five hundred Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt
of which is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey to the
party of the second part his heirs and assigns all that certain
tract or parcel of land situated in the County of Alachua in
the State of Florida known and described as follows to wit ********
section Eighteen of Township eleven of Range twenty (20) & part
of the Arrendondo grant lying in said County. To have and to
hold to the party of the second part his heirs and assigns
together with all the rights and appurtenances thereto belonging
and the title to the same, the said parties of the first part to
the party of the second part his heirs and assigns and against
themselves their heirs &c shall and will forever warrant and
defend by these presents. In Witness whereof the said parties of
the first part have hereunto set their hand and affixed their
seal the day and year before written

Hernando County } Personally appeared before me a County Judge
and Justice of the peace in and for said County David G.
Hennis and Mary J. Hennis wife of said David G. to me personally
known who acknowledged to me that they had executed the
foregoing deed to James R. Atkins for the purpose therein stated
and also appeared before me the said Mary J. Hennis wife of
said David G. who have been first privately examined by me
separately and apart from her said husband acknowledged to
me that she had renounced and relinquished all her right
& title to dower in the premises mentioned in said deed
freely and voluntarily and without any compulsion constraint
apprehension or fear of or from her said husband
