       Alachua County   } Whereas I Louis A. Barnes as Sheriff of Alachua
       County under and by virtue of an execution issued out of the
       Circuit Court of Alachua County in the fifth Judicial circuit
       of Florida wherein Elisha Bloomer was Plaintiff and Burl T.
       Hitchcock was defendant did on the 29th day of February AD 1876
       levy upon the land hereinafter described and did duly advertise
       said lands for sale under said execution on Monday the 3rd day
       of April AD 1876 according to law and whereas on said 3rd
       day of April AD 1876 pursuant to said levy and advertisement I
       as such Sheriff as aforesaid under the execution aforesaid did

       duly sell the^land at public outcry before the Court House door
       in the town of Gainesville Fla and whereas at said sale the plain
       tiff in said execution Elisha Bloomer became the purchaser
       of said lands for the sum of Three hundred and fifty dollars that
       being the highest sum bid for the same at said sale and he
       through his attorneys being the bidder therefor.
            Now therefore Know all men by these presents that I the
       said Louis A. Barnes as such Sheriff as aforesaid under and
       by virtue of an execution aforesaid and under and by virtue
       of the levy and sale thereunder made for and in consideration
       of the said sum of Three hundred and fifty dollars to me in hand
       paid by the attorneys of said Elisha Bloomer the receipt whereof
       I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained sold and conveyed
       and by these presents do bargain sell and convey unto him the
       said Elisha Bloomer of the City of New York all the following
       tracts of land situated lying and being in the County of Alachua
       in the State of Florida known as the South West quarter of the
       South West quarter of Section twenty four (24) and the South
       half of Section twenty six (26) and all of section thirty six (36)
       excepting two lots of said section one of 12 1/2 acres sold to Albert
       Anham and the other of five acres sold to Albert Gatschet all
       in Township Eight (8) South Range Twenty one (21) East, also
       Lot five (5) and the south half of Lot three (3) (or the South half
       of South West quarter of South East quarter) of Section thirty (30)
       Township Eight (8) South Range twenty two (22) East containing
       Eleven hundred and fifty 50/100 acres. The same being the proper
       ty lived upon and sold under the execution aforesaid.
       Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
       appurtenances to the same belonging or in anywise appertaining
            To have and to hold the same unto him the said Elisha
       Bloomer his heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee
       simple forever as fully as I the said Louis A. Barnes as such
       Sheriff as aforesaid under and by virtue of said execution and
       the levy and sale thereunder made might could would or
       ought to sell and convey the same.
          In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed
       my seal on this 3rd day of April AD 1876.
