to hold unto the said F.A. Bell one half interest in the following undi-
vided tract or parcel of land known and described as being the
South West quarter of North West quarter of Section ten and North
West quarter of South West quarter of Section ten Township ten, south
of Range twenty two East, and also the East half of the South East
quarter of Section nine, Township ten Range 22 twenty two East, containing
One hundred and sixty acres together with all the rights and privileges
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining. And the said parties 
of the first part doth warrant and defend the title against all lawful
claims of their heirs or any persons claiming the said land under them.

State of Florida } Before the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and
Alachua County   } for said County personally came Mrs Emma L. Waits
and Thomas R. Waits her husband who executed the foregoing Deed
therein expressed, and the said Emma L. Waits wife of the said
Thomas R. Waits being separate and apart from her husband acknowl-
edged she signed the same freely and voluntarily and without fear
of or from her husband Thomas R. Waits.

State of Florida } This Indenture made and entered into this day
Alachua County   } the 26th day of Sept in the year of our Lord one thou
sand eight hundred and seventy six (1876) with  consent of all parties in-
terested and herein named in an undivided tract or parcel of land
located in the aforesaid County and State which is described in a Deed
of Conveyance by S.V. Gaskins and Amanda M. Gaskins to Emma L. Waits
and Thomas R. Waits on the 21st day of January 1875 and by them the
said Emma L. Waits & Thomas R. Waits to Francis A. Bell on the 15th day
of Sept 1876 the half interest of which was deeded and conveyed of the
aforesaid lands as aforementioned. Now I, S.V. Gaskins as authorized agent
of Mrs M.A. Kirkland and with the consent of the aforementioned parties
and interest parties do assign and confirm to the aforesaid Francis A.
Bell as his portion and interest in the above mentioned lands the East
half of the South East quarter of section nine (9) Township ten (10) Range 22
East containing (80) eighty acres.
