second part and their successors in office forever in trust that
they shall erect and build or cause to be erected and built there-
on a house or place of worship for the use of the members of the
Methodist Episcopal Church South under the rules and disciplines which
from time to time may be adopted by the ministers and preachers of the
said church at their General Conferences: and in further trust and
confidence that they shall at all times forever hereafter permit
such ministers and preachers belonging to the said church, as shall
from time to time be duly authorized by the General Conferences
of the ministers and preachers of the said Methodist Episcopal Church
South or by the Annual Conferences authorized by the said General
Conference, to preach and expound God's Holy Word therein, and also
to keep in repair the house now on the premises & to rebuild or to have re-
built one when necessary for the purpose of a Sunday and day school
And the said party of the first part to these presents do bind him-
self his heirs, executors and administrators to warrant the right and
title unto the said lot or parcel of land unto the said parties of
the second part to these presents against all lawful claims whatsoever
so long as the said lot or parcel of land is used for the said purpose herein
specified and declared, otherwise should it cease to be used for the specific
purposes herein declared then to revert back together with all the ap-
purtenances tenements and hereditaments belonging thereto, to the said
grantor, his heirs or assigns, In testimony whereof the said grantor
party of the first part to these presents has hereunto set his hand and

of December 1875 between William C. Beckham party of the first part and
A.C. Beckham party of the second part of the County and State afore-
