County of Alachua } This Indenture made and entered into this thirteenth day
of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy
six between Thomas R. Waits and Emma L. Waits of the first part and S.V.
Gaskins of the second part all parties living in the State and County above
written. Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part has granted sold and
conveyed & delivered unto the said party of the second part S.V. Gaskins and
his heirs and assigns for and in consideration of two hundred dollars good
and lawful money of the United States to have and to hold unto the said
Samuel V. Gaskins his heirs executors administrators and assigns one fourth
interest in the following undivided tract of land namely the west half
of South West quarter of section 4 north west quarter of north west quarter
of Section eight Township 10 R 22 East containing 160 acres together with
all the rights & privileges thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining
and the said parties of the first part doth warrant and defend the
title against the lawful claims of their heirs or any person claiming
the said land under them.
