Alachua County  } Before me personally appeared Louis A. Barnes
Sheriff of Alachua County who being duly sworn says and acknowl-
edges that he did as Sheriff sign seal and deliver the foregoing deed
of conveyance for the uses and purposes as therein contained and ex-
pressed.

This Indenture made this Seventeenth day of January AD 1876 Between
D.A. Hancock and William M. Duke as Executors of the last will and testa-
ment of Martin Hancock late of Columbia County Florida deceased
and acting under the provisions of said Will parties of the first part and
Jane Colson wife of W.H. Colson of Alachua County Florida party of the 
second part Witnesseth that the parties of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of One hundred and twenty dolalrs to them
in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained sold released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents
do grant bargain sell release convey and confirm unto the party
of the second part her heirs and assigns forever all that certain tract
or parcel of land lying situate and being in the County of Alachua
State of Florida known as the East half of the North East Quarter
of Section Nineteen (19) Township Seven (7) South of Range Nine-
teen (19) East containing Eighty acres more or less.
   Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances
thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and all the reversions
remainders rents issues and profits thereof. And all the right
title interest property possession claim or demand whatsoever as well in
law as in equity of the heirs and assigns of said Martin Hancock
deceased of in and to the same.  To Have and to Hold the above
described property and every part and parcel thereof unto the said
party of the second part her heirs and assigns to her and their 
own property use benefit and behoof forever in fee simple absolute
   In witness whereof the parties of the first part as the Executors of the said
Martin Hancock have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals
at Lake City this 17th of January 1876

Columbia County  } Before me personally came William M. Duke to me well
known who acknowledged that he signed the foregoing Deed as an
Executor of the Estate of Martin Hancock and that he affixed the
name of D.A. Hancock as the other Executor to said Estate for the
purposes therein expressed  Whereupon it is prayed the same may
be recorded.
