Alachua County   } This Indenture made the 7th day of October in the year
eighteen hundred and seventy six between John B. Brooks & Alex C. Beck-
ham parties in the County & State aforesaid of the first part, and
Louisa C. Burge of the same State & County of the second part. Witnesseth
that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration of the
sum of four hundred dollars lawful money of the United States to
them duly paid before the delivery hereof hath bargained and sold
and by these presents do grant and convey to the said party of the
second part her heirs & assigns forever all that certain piece or
lot of land lying and being situate in the town of Waldo in said
County and known and designated in the plan of said town as
Lot one (1) Block twelve (12) together with all and singular the
tenements and appurtenances and all and singular the estate
title and interest of the said parties of the first part therein
saving & excepting the orange nurseries on said premises.
   And the said parties of the first part do hereby covenant with the 
said party of the second part that they will warrant and defend
the above granted premises in the quiet and peaceable possession
of the said party of the second part her heirs and assigns forever.
