State of Florida } Be it known that before me Turner Duling a Justice of the
County of Nassau } Peace personally appeared Samuel A. Swann and Martha R.
Swann his wife on this 28th day of September AD 1876 who severally acknowledged
that they executed the foregoing deed. And I further certify that the said Martha
R. Swann being at the same time separate and apart from her said husband
did acknowledge under her hand and seal that she executed the foregoing deed of
conveyance to Truman Doane and that she joined in the said deed for the
purpose of relinquishing and renouncing all dower or right of dower in
and to the premises described therein and that said reliquishment and
renunciation of dower was and is made fully and voluntarily and with-
out any compulsion or constraint apprehension or fear of or from her hus
band the said Samuel A. Swann.

This Indenture made and enered into this the twenty seventh day of
Sept in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy six
between Union F. Tillis of Alachua County Florida of the first part
and Truman Doane of the County of Alachua & State of Florida of the
second part. Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in
consideration of the sum of $225 00/100 two hundred and twenty five dollars
to him in hand paid by the said party of the second part the receipt where
of is hereby acknowledged has given granted aliened bargained sold
transfered and do by these presents give grant alien bargain sell trans
fer and convey unto the said party of the second part all that tract
or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Alachua and State
of Florida and known and described on the maps and public surveys of
said State as the South West quarter (SW1/4) of the North West quarter (NW1/4)
of Section one (sec 1) Township eight South (T8S) of Range twenty East (R20E)
containing forty 01/100 acres more or less. To have and to hold the above de-
scribed presmises together with all and singular the rights and privileges
immunities easements and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any
wise appertaining unto said party of the second part and his heirs as
their absolute property in fee simple forever and the said party of
the first part for themselves and successors and for all others claiming
by through or under them or either of them do covenant and agree
that they are seized of a good and indefeasible fee simple to the above
premises and that they have good right to convey the same as they
have conveyed the same free and discharged from all encumbrances |
