Columbia County  }        In Probate Court
                  In the matter of the sale and transfer of the within de-
scribed realty belonging to the estate of Martin Hancock late of Colum-
County described. It appears to the Court that the power of private sale
has been vested in the within named Executors by the Testator Martin
Hancock late of said County deceased in his last will and testament
and no satisfactory cause existing to the contrary, It is ordered adjud-
ged and decreed that the within sale and conveyance is hereby approved
and confirmed.
              Witness my hand and official seal this the 17th day of
January AD 1876

This Indenture made this 17th day of January AD 1876 Between David
A. Hancock and William as executors of the last Will & Testament of
Martin Hancock late of Columbia County Florida deceased acting under
the provisions of said Will parties of the first part and Georgianna A. Pope
wife of W.W. Pope of Alachua County Florida party of the second part
   Witnesseth that the said parties of the first part for and in consideration
of the sum of One hundred and twenty dollars to then in hand
paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have bargained sold
conveyed released and confirmed and by these presents do grant bar-
gain sell release convey and confirm unto the party of the second
part her heirs and assigns forever the following tract or parcel of land
situate lying and being in Alachua County Florida known as the West
half of the North West Quarter of section Twenty (20) Township seven
(7) South of Range 19 Nineteen East containing Eighty acres more or 
less.  Together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments and
appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining and all
the remainders reversion rents issues and profits thereof and all the
right title interest property possession claim and demand whatsoever
as well in law as in equity of the heirs and assigns of the said
Martin Hancock deceased of in and to the property herein conveyed
and every part and parcel thereof.
     To have and to hold the above bargained and described premises
with the appurtenances unto the said party of the second part her heirs
and assigns to her and their own proper use benefit and behoof in
fee simple absolute forever.
     In witness whereof the parties of the first part as the executors of
the said Martin Hancock deceased have hereunto set their hands and
affixed their seals this 17th day of January AD 1876.
