      State of Florida } Before me a Justice of the Peace in and for said County
      Alachua County   } personally came E.D. Earle to me well known as the party
      who executed the within deed of conveyance and acknowledged he signed
      the same for the purposes therein expressed.
                    Witness my hand and seal this 14th day of October AD 1876

      This Indenture made and entered into on this the fourteenth day of August
      in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy six between
      the Florida Land and Immigration Company a body corporate by the laws of the state
      of Florida party of the first part and Samuel Reddish of Alachua County State of 
      Florida party of the second part.  Witnesseth, That the said party of the first
      part for and in consideration of one hundred and sixty 00/100 ($16000) lawful
      money of the United States of America to it in hand paid by the said party
      of the second part at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents, the
      receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged has given granted aliened bargained sold
      transferred conveyed and confirmed: and does by these presents give grant
      alien bargain sell transfer remise release convey and confirm unto the
      said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever all those
      certain tracts or parcels of land situate lying and being in the County of Alach-
      ua and State of Florida and better known and better known and described
      on the public maps and records of said State as the North West quarter of the
      South East quarter and the North East quarter of the South West quarter
      of Section Seventeen Township eight South of Range twenty two East. (NW1/4 of
      SE1/4 & NE1/4 of SW1/4 of Sec 17 S R 22E) containing eighty acres more or less.
        To have and to hold the above granted bargained and described premises
      together with all and singular the rights and privileges immunities ease-
      ments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining
      unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns as his ab-
      solute property in fee simple forever.  And the said Florida Land and 
      Immigration Company for itself and assigns and for all others claim
      ing by through or under it does covenant and agree that at the time of
      the execution and delivery of these presents the said Company is seized
      of a good and indefeasible fee simple to the above premises and has
      good right to convey the same as it has conveyed the same free and
      discharged from all encumbrances and liens of any and every nature
      and description and that the said party of the second part his heirs
      and assigns shall quietly and peaceably and may at all times hereafter
      have use occupy possess and enjoy the above described premises against all
      persons whatsoever lawfully claiming the same. And that it will, at any
      and at all times make such further covenants conveyances and assurances
      at the expense of the said party of the second part as he the said party
      of the second part his heirs or assigned or counsel learned in the law may
      require.  In witness whereof the said party of the first part has
      caused its seal to be hereunto affixed and these presents to be certified by
      its President and Resident Manager the day and year first above written.
