Hernando County  } Know all men by these presents that we Thaddeus R. Dean and
Zany R. Dean his wife of the County of Hernando and State of Florida for
and in consideration of the sum of Three Hundred dollars to us in hand
paid at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt
whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and conveyed
and by these presents do grant bargain sell and convey unto Washington
Childs Sen of the County and State aforesaid all that certain tract or
parcel of land lying being and situated in the County of Alachua and
State of Florida and described on the land plats of United States at Talla-
hassee and heretofore at Newnansville E. Florida of the NW1/4 of the South
West quarter of section four (4) also SE1/4 of section five 5 all in Township
No ten Range No eighteen South & East containing two hundred acres more
or less with all and singular the appurtenances and all the right title inter-
est claim and demand of us or either of us in the premises. To have and
to hold the same with the appurtenances unto the said Washington Childs
his heirs in fee simple forever. And the said Thadeus R.R. Dean for myself
my heirs do hereby covenant and agree to with to and with the said Washing-
ton Childs Sen that I am now the owner of said premises and have the
full right and power to sell and convey the same in fee simple absolute
and that we Thadeus R. Dean and Zany R. Dean his wife and his heirs
will warrant and forever defend the said premises with the appurte-
nances unto the said Washington Childs Sen And his heirs and assigns
forever. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and affix
our seals this fifteenth day of January AD one thousand eight hundred and
seventy three 1873

State of Florida } Know all men by these presents that I Zany R. Dean
Hernando County  } the wife of Thaddeus R. Dean the grantor in the for-
going Deed of conveyance hereby relinquish renounce and release to the grantor
in the foregoing deed all my dower and right of dower in and to the lands
and tenements thereby conveyed and acknowledged without any compulsion
constraint apprehension or fear of or from my said husband

State of Florida } Before me the subscriber C.C. Kealtey Clerk Circuit
Hernando County  } Court of of said County as above and before stated
personally came before me Zany R. Dean wife of Thaddeus R. Dean as
aforesaid waived and separately and from her said husband made
and executed the foregoing relinquishment freely and voluntarily on
my part this 15th day of January AD 1873 And this acknowledged
was made before me personally.
