Columbia County } Before me personally came William M. Duke to me
well known, who acknowledged that he signed and executed the foregoing Deed
as an Executor of the last Will and Testament of Martin Hancock de-
ceased and that he affixed the name of D.A. Hancock as the other
Executor of said Estate for the purposes therein expressed Whereupon
it is prayed the same may be recorded.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and official seal

In the matter of the sale and transfer of the within de-
scribed realty belonging to the estate of Martin Hancock late of Columbia
County deceased, it appears to the Court that the power of priave sale has been
vested in the within named Executors by the Testator Martin Hancock late
of Columbia County deceased in his last Will and Testament and no satis-
factory cause existing to the contrary, it is ordered adjudged and decreed that
the within sale and conveyance is hereby approved and confirmed

Alachua County } Know all men by these presents that I, Richard McRae
(alias) Richard Brevard of the aforesaid County and State for and in
consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars to me cash in hand paid
by Ann McRae of said County and State the receipt whereof I do hereby
acknowledge have granted bargained sold and conveyed and by these presents
do grant bargain sell and convey unto her the said Ann McRae all that
certain lot piece or parcel of land, situated lying and being in the town
of Gainesville Alachua County State of Florida in what is known as the
Arredondo Grant commencing at the South East conrner of that certain
lot of land situated in what is known as "Brush's Addition" to Gainesville
heretofore on the eighth day of May AD 1872 conveyed to me the said
Richard Brevard by Charles W. Brush executor of Nehemiah Brush
deceased by deed of that date which deed is recorded on pages 831 & 832
and 833 of Deed Book "H" of Alachua County records thence North
one hundred and twenty six (126) feet thence due West four hun-
dred and seventy nine (479) feet, thence South one hundred and
twenty six (126) feet thence East four hundred and seventy nine
(479) feet to the place of beginning together with all and singular
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances to the same belonging
or in anywise appertaining (reserving to myself the crops of all
kinds now growing on same with the right to go in and cultivate
and harvest and gather the same during the present year AD 1876)
To have and to hold the same to her the said Ann McRae and
to her heirs executors administrators and assigns in fee simple for
ever. And I the said Richard McRae (alias) Richard Brevard
do hereby covenant and agree to and with the said Ann McRae that
I will and my heirs executors and administrators shall and will |
