Alachua County   } Known all men by these presents that we
Isaac Green and Henry Johnson of the County of Alachua
and State of Florida do owe unto Nathan Spencer and his
wife Sarah Spencer of said County and State eighty five
(85) dollars for the payment of which well and truly to be
made to the said Spencer & wife Sarah Spencer his or her heirs
executors administrators or assigns we bind ourselves our
heirs, executors, administrators firmly by these presents
In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands & seal
this 23rd day of October AD 1875.
                         The condition of the above bond is
such that whereas the said Nathan Spencer and his wife Sarah
Spencer have this day agreed to sell to the said Isaac Green and
Henry Johnson their certain lot of four & one fourth (4 1/4) acres
situated in the north half of section six (6) township ten (10) &
range (20) twenty east & known as lot No (8) eight in Nathan
Spencers survey of said land, for the sum of eighty five (85) Dollars
of which the said Isaac Green and Henry Johnson paid to the said
Spencer & wife forty dollars in cash and made their certain
promissory notes one for ten dollars payable in ten days from
this date and the other note payable 1st January 1876 for thirty
five dollar now if the said Spencer & wife shall convey &
approve or cause to be conveyed and approved the above
premises to the said Isaac Green and Henry Johnson or to
such uses & such purposes as they shall appoint or direct
free from mortgage or incumbrances by such conveyance or 
the said Isaac Green & Henry Johnson may reasonably demand
upon the payment by said Isaac Green & Henry Johnson of their
paid promissory notes so given by them as aforesaid as part con-
sideration for the purchase of said lot of land then this
bond shall be void else to remain of full force.

Alachua County   } Before me I.E. Webster Clerk of the Circuit Court
of the 5th Judicial Circuit of Florida personally came E.A. Jeffords
who being duly sworn says he saw the foregoing instrument
signed sealed and delivered for the purposes and intentions
therein expressed together with J.H. Roper as witnesses.
