Alachua County } This indenture made this September the
second, Eighteen Hundred and Seventy five Between James
R.C. Knight of the first part, and James Knight of the
second part witnesseth that the said J.R.C. Knight for &
in consideration of the sum of forty dollars lawful money
now here paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged hath
granted, bargained, sold, released and conveyed and by these
presents doth bargain, grant, sell and convey unto the said
James Knight his heirs and assigns forever all that tract
or parcel of land lying in the State and County aforesaid
to wit: The south west quarter of the south west quarter being
south half of lot number five (5) of section nineteen (19)
Township seven (7) south and range sixteen (16) East containing
(error)
Forty acres more or less and lying and being in the County
of Alachua in said State of Florida, to have and to hold
unto the said James Knight and his heirs and assigns for-
ever in fee simple in witness whereof the said James R.
C. Knight hath hereunto set his hand and affixed his
seal the day and year above written.

on this day personally appeared before me James R.C. Knight to
me well known and acknowledged that he executed the fore-
going Deed for the purpose therein expressed whereupon it is prayed
that the same may be recorded in witness whereof I have
hereunto affixed my hand and seal this the 2nd day of Sept

Alachua County } Known all men by these presents that I the
wife of James R.C. Knight the granter of the foregoing Deed
for the conveyance of real restate for and in consideration of the
premises in said deed recited and in further consideration of
the Forty Dollars to me paid by James Knight the receipt
whereof before the sealing and delivering of these presents
is hereby acknowledged do renounce, release and relinquish
unto the said James Knight all my right claim or equity of
Dower in and to the premises by said deed conveyed as
fully and absolutely as I might or could do the same.
