said husband and in the presence of John McKinney Justice
of the peace of Columbia County State of Florida acknowledge
that I did join in the foregoing deed for the purpose of
relinquishing my dower to the premises therein conveyed and
that the same was done by me freely and voluntarily without
any compulsion constraint apprehension or fear of or from my
said husband in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand
and seal this the 2d day of September 1875.

                            This Indenture made the
Second day of September in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and seventy six between
Catharine Gay in her own indowal right and Asbury 
Gay husband of the said Catharine Gay both of the County
of Alachua and State of Florida parties of the first part
and L.S. Earle of the County of Alachua and State of
Florida party of the second part. Witnesseth that the parties
of the first part for and in consideration of the sum six
hundred Dollars lawful money of the United States of America
to them in hand paid by the said party of the second part
at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents The
receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bar-
gained sold aliened remised released conveyed and
confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell
alien remise release convey and confirm unto the said
party of the second part and their heirs and assigns forever
all the following lots tracts or parcels of land situate lying
and being in the County of Alachua State of Florida and
known and discribed as follows in the plan of the town
of Waldo said County and State as the lots 1, 2 & 3 in block No 2
together with all and singular the tenements hereditaments
and appertenances thereto belonging or in anywise appertaining
and the reversion and reversions remainder and remainders
rents issues and profits thereof; and also all of the estate
right title interest property possession claim and demand
whatsoever as well in law as in equity of the said parties
of the first part of, and in and to the same and every
part and parcel thereof with the appurtenances.
To have and to hold the above granted, bargained and
described premises with the appurtenances unto the said
party of the second part her heirs and assigns to her
and their own proper use benefit and behoof forever &
the said parties of the first part Catharine Gay and
