me Asbury Gay to me well known as the person
described in and who executed the foregoing deed of conveyance
and acknowledged that he executed the same for the purpose
therein expressed whereupon it is prayed that the same may

Alachua County } Known all men by these presents that I Thomas
B. Ellis of the aforesaid County and State for and in consid-
eration of the sum of one thousand and six and 80/100 Dollars
to me cash in hand paid by Edwin W. L'Engle of State and County
aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted
bargained and sold and conveyed and by these presents do
grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Edwin W. L'Engle
all that certain tract or parcel of land situate lying and
being in the County of Alachua and State of Florida and more
particularly described as follows to wit: The north west
quarter (1/4) of section (7) seven Township (10) ten range (20) twenty
S & E containing one hundred and sixty acres more or less
and a fraction of the south west (1/4) quarter of section
(7) seven Township (10) ten Range (20) Twenty S & E lying
north of the Atlantic Gulf and West India Transit Compan-
ies Rail Road tract containing Thirty three acres more
or less. To have and to hold the same to him the
said Edwin W. L'Engle the before mentioned and described
land against myself my heirs executors Administrators and
against all persons lawfully claiming the same.
In witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal
this 14th day of December AD (1876) one thousand eight
hundred and seventy six.
