Alachua County   } This Indenture made this 20th day of
July AD 1875, between William Henry Colson and
his wife Jane Colson of the State and County aforesaid of
the one part and Richard C. Davis of the same
place of the other part Witnesseth that the said
William Henry Colson and his wife Jane Colson
for & in consideration of the sum of two hundred &
forty dollars paid at and before the sealing and deliv-
ering of these presents this receipt whereof is hereby ac-
knowledged hath bargained sold released and conveyed
and by these presents doth bargain sell release & convey
unto the said Richard C. Davis his heirs and assigns
all the following named and described lands being and
lying in the State and County aforesaid & containing eighty
acres more or less more particularly described as
follows to wit: North 1/2 of the south east quarter of section
21 Township 7 south & Range 19 East in the district of
lands subject to sale at Newnansville Florida all
lying and being in the County of Alachua in said State
of Florida to have and to hold said described tract of
land unto the said Richard C. Davis his heirs and ass-
igns forever in fee simple together with all the rights
members and appertenances to the same belonging or in
any manner appertaining and the said William
Henry Colson for himself his executors administrators
and assigns said bargained premises shall and will
forever warrant and defend from and against himself
his heirs and assigns unto the said Richard C. Davis
his heirs & assigns against the claim of all other persons
whatever in Witness whereof the said William H. Colson has
hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year above
