                         This Indenture made the first day of
April, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and
Seventy six between Elizabeth M. Peay of the State of South
Carolina party of the first part, and Rollins M. Witt of the
County of Alachua & State of Florida party of the second part;
Witnesseth, that the said party of the first part, for and in
consideration of the sum of one hundred Dollars lawful
money of the United States of America, to her in hand paid
by the said party of the second part, at or before the ensealing
and delivery of these presents, the receipt whereof is hereby
acknowledged, hath remised, released, and quit claimed, and by these
presents doth remise, release, and quit claim, unto the said part
of the second part, and to heirs and assigns forever, All that certain
parcel and tract of Land in Alachua County in the State of
Florida, known as a part of the June and Peay land near the
Town of Gainesville, and more particularly described as Section
Twelve (12) T. 10 South Range 19 East of the Arredondo Grant
Alachua County Florida.  Together with all and singular
the tenements, hereditaments, and appurtenances thereunto
belonging or in anywise appertaining and the reversion and
reversions, remainder and remainders, rents issues, and profits
thereof, and also, all the estate, right, title, interest, separate
estate, dower, and right of dower, property, possession, claim
and demand whatsoever, as well in law as in equity, of
the said part of the first part, of, in, and to the above
described premises, and every part and parcel thereof,
with the appurtenances.
      To Have and to Hold, all and singular the
above mentioned and described premises, together with the
appurtenances, unto the said party of the second part, his
heirs and assigns forever.          
            In Witness Whereof, the said part of the 
first part, has hereunto set hand and seal the day and
year first above written

is sole granter as to her interest.

--- Greeting:   Know ye, that James L. Davis whose official

annexed, was at the time of affixing the same thereto
a Notary Public in and for the State of South Carolina
as appears from the records of this department, that
his attestation is in due form, and that full faith
and credit are due to his official acts.
