to pay Jennie E. Ancrum or order the sum of four
hundred dollars, and interest from date at Savannah, Ga.

J.E. Ancrum and for which said land is liable until paid for in

Alachua County   } Know all men by these presents that I
S.F. Halliday of the aforesaid County and State for and in
consideration of the sum of One Hundred and Seventy five
Dollars, to me paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged
have granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents
do grant, bargain, sell and convey, unto Rollins M. Witt of
Gainesville Florida, the following described lands which were
bought by me at a Tax Sale made on the 2nd day of June
AD 1873, and for which I received a Tax Deed to same
on the 4th day of June AD 1874 to wit; all those certain
certain pieces or parcel of Land in Alachua County Florida
known and described as the North Half of Section Twelve (12)
Township Ten (10) Range Nineteen (19) Containing Three hundred
and twenty Acres of land more or less; To have and to hold
the same to him the said Rollins M. Witt, his heirs
Executors, administrators and assigns forever.
               In witness whereof I have hereunto set
my hand and affixed my seal this 11th day of December
AD 1875
