Alachua County } Be it remembered that on this the 1
day of April in the of our Lord Eighteen hundred and Seventy six
personally appeared before the undersigned John G. Falkner Justice of
the Peace in and for said County of Alachua, Mrs Julia A. Edwards
wife of the said William Edwards, who on a private examination by
me, held separate and apart from her said husband, says that
she relinquishes and renounces all her dower and right of dower in and
to the property and premises herein before described, that she signs this
Indenture for such purposes of renunciation and relinquishment of Dower,
interest, and that she does the same freely and voluntarily and without
any compulsion, constraint, apprehension or fear of or from her said husband,
