This Indenture made the fiftenth day of January AD
one thousand eight hundred & seventy seven (1877) between
C.A. Simmons & his wife M.M. Simmons of the County of
Bradford & State of Florida parties of the first part and
Thos McCone of the County of Alachua State above named
party of the second part Witnesseth, That the said
parties of the first part for and in consideration of
the sum of Two hundred dollars $200.00 lawful money
of the U.S. of America to them in hand paid by the
said party of the second part the receipt whereof is
hereby acknowledge, have granted bargains sold aliened
remised released, conveyed and confirmed and by these
presents do grant bargain sell alien remise release
convey and confirmed unto the said party of the second
part and his heirs and assigns forever, the north half
(N1/2) of section eighteen (18) Township ten (10) Range
twenty two (22) except Sixty (60) acres of the NE corner
belonging to Mike Miller) Together with all & singular
the tenements hereditaments and appurtenances thereto
belonging or in anywise appertaining to every part and
parcel thereof.  To have and to hold the above described
premise until the said party of the second part
his heirs and assigns to his own proper use benefit
& behoof until the said party of the second part all
the right title and interest in fee simple to the above
named property against the lawful claims of themselves
their heirs or assigns or against the lawful claims
of any person or persons whatsoever claims the same

County of Alachua } Know all men by these Presents, That I
M.M. Simmons Wife of the above named C.A. Simmons
do by these presents made and executed by me, of the
above named separate and apart from my said husband
and in the presence of Saml J. Kennard a Judicial officer
of the State of Florida acknowledge and declare that I
did make myself a party to and executed the foregoing
Deed of conveyance for the purpose of Relinquishing
all of my Right of Dower in and to the lands in said
conveyance described and granted, and that I do the
same Freely and Voluntarily and without any compulsion
or fear of or from C.A. Simmons my said husband
the said in Witness whereof, I hereunto subscribed
my name and affix my seal, this 15th day of January
